Gone but not forgotten
I hope your last journey leads you to where you'll have eternal happiness, miss you bud 💔
Yours friend Phil
I loved calling to see Paul, he always had such good energy and kindness. He lived a full life, I wish I had more time to hear more of his stories. Rest in peace Paul, I hope there are lots of plants for you to enjoy in heaven.
Paul, in a world where everyone is constantly online or looking into their phones, you lived your life resolutely offline. You were a people person to the last, always curious, always interested in developing conversations and relations with others. It is hard to accept that we will never have the pleasure of your company again. Life is a lot duller without you. But, as you would no doubt want, we mustn't allow your passing to depress us. Instead remember a wonderful life, well lived and the many fond memories which you have left us with. Rest In Peace my friend.

Heartbroken to hear of Paul's passing. I was so fond of him. We had some fantastic chats over the years. About life, politics, his wonderful stories from when he lived abroad. And all his advice on how to look after plants that I inevitably killed anyway. Not to mention how great a hairdresser he was.

Paul will be sorely missed. He made life in rathmines interesting as he held court in Baked Cafe and on the seats outside the swimming pool where he made people feel at their ease with his ready witt and easy conversation. Life in rathmines will be quieter and not as bright. A light has gone out.

It was very very sad to hear that Paul had passed away. I will dearly miss him. He loved chatting to people and allways kept the conversation going with people. He was such a laugh at times. I never thought he could sing until one night I heard him at a karaoke..

Very sad to hear of Paul's untimely death, we had coffee regularly outside Subway in Rathmines before the Covid-19 pandemic!

We only discovered that we had many mutual acquaintances from the 70's and 80's in our many conversations, but didn't actually know each other!

Condolences to all Paul's family and friends.
