Dear Dave , so sorry to hear of your beautiful dads passing .I only had the pleasure to meet him once & he left a big impression an absolute gentleman just like his son . You will miss him dearly I am sure while keeping his memory alive . He loved you dearly and you did him proud nursing him with such dedication in his latter years . Sincere condolences to Paul’s family . Pail was a huge part in helping to put in place the foundation stones of Penney’s in the early seventies, as furniture buyer , confectionery buyer and later as head of the stocktake team right up to his retirement . His experience and willingness to help the young trainees has stood to the company right up to the present day . He was also a connoisseur of fine whiskey and good golf . Thanks a mil Paul . It is a long time since I met him in Dingle but I know he enjoyed his retirement there.
