I'd only bump into him occasionally as I work in Estates but he always inspired me and made me feel good. What an attribute for a person to have. I am so sorry for you that he is gone. I hope his wonderful spirit lives on.

Dear Glynis and family. Our deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved husband and father.
To Glynis and all the family, Paul was a great teacher and scientist. His enthusiasm and encouragement as my supervisor in the final year of undergrad gave me the confidence to go on and do a Phd. I will be forever grateful. He will be sadly missed by all in Trinity xxx

My deepest condolences to you Glynis and all the family. I was shocked to hear of Pauls passing and I am thinking of you all during this difficult time. Paul was one of the cornerstones of my time at Trinity and I am sure of many other peoples time too, with many stories and tales! Sending you all my best wishes, Una.
Paul was an enthusiastic, inspirational and meticulous scientist - over decades. I was grateful to him when I was an undergrad struggling with biochemistry in the 70s, when he helped Dave Jackson and myself design some mad experiments in St.James's in the 80s - which were actually ahead of their time - and as a collaborator and colleague when I joined the School of Biochemistry & Immunology. He will be sadly missed...
To Natalie and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and best wishes are with all of you during this difficult time.

Deepest sympathy to Glynis and family on the loss of Paul. Paul was a constant presence throughout my time in Trinity, first as a wonderful lecturer as an undergrad, then as a thoughtful scientist in the lab next door during my PhD, and then as an esteemed colleague whom I always enjoyed conversing with. He will be sorely missed by all. Praying comfort and peace for you all in the midst of the sadness of loss.
To Johnny and family, our very sincere and deepest condolences to you (and your family) on the sad and sudden passing of your dear dad. May he RIP.
Hi Glynis, I was very saddened to learn of Paul’s passing. What a fantastic character. I feel so privileged to have had him as a teacher. Even though I didn’t continue in academia the writing tips that he showed me when preparing my thesis helped me every single day of my subsequent career.
Hope you are doing well.
Fond regards.
Michael.

Dr. Voorheis was my all-time favorite lecturer - even after almost 30 years in academia I have yet to meet his match. He inspired so many and we were lucky to have known him. Condolences to family and friends.

I was lucky to have been taught by him in my undergraduate years. He brought his topics to life though his stories and his lectures were one of my favourites. I used to enjoy the small elevator chats with him in TBSI even if he had no idea who I was, I will always remember his stories. I'm sorry to hear of his passing and would like to offer my condolences to his family and friend.
Natalie, sending all my love to you and the entire family as you remember the wonderful kindness, intellect and warmth of your Dad xxx
RIP to a great buddy.
