Dearest Roisin, Leah, Abby and the extended Costigan family. So shocked to learn (in September) of Paul's untimely passing. Wonderful memories of times spent with Roisin and Paul in Brussels and Antwerp, many moons ago. May Paul, a true, kind gentleman rest in peace. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

Roisin, Leah and Abby, I was so shocked to hear about the tragedy, a wonderful friend, Dad and husband. We had so many good times together in Portugal and more recently in Wicklow. May Paul Rest in Peace

I knew Paul from school in Carlow and from visiting Antwerp. He took me on tours of the city, visiting some lovely restaurants and bars along the way. Always hospitable and engaging, I enjoyed his company, openness and sense of humour.

My deepest condolences to the Costigan family on the untimely passing of Paul. I first met Paul in the late 90s as an enthusiastic and driven tech entrepreneur. Paul was always pushing new boundaries first west towards the US and Silicon Valley as an inspiration and then East to China. I last met Paul in May for coffee. He was in great form, chatting about his daughters and family, grateful for the opportunities he had over the years and how he wanted to give back to the next generation of entrepreneurs. We will miss him.

Paul was a stalwart of the Irish community in Hong Kong. One of the nicest and most engaging men you could meet. We always had such good chats. He will be sorely missed.

I was so very sorry to hear that Paul had passed away in such an untimely manner. I haven’t met Paul in quite a few years but he regularly crossed my mind from days doing Leaving Cert Maths and Physics in CBS, my recollection is that Paul won the Tyndall Medal in 1982, to college years studying Engineering at UCD. I was a year behind Paul in my studies and still recall the generosity of Paul’s help and time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Sympathies to all the family and sorry I cannot attend the funeral.
