Am so utterly shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic and untimely passing of Dr Lannon.
Have known Dr Lannon for 20 plus years since being a patient of the Plaza Clinic.
When my son was discharged from hospital into palliative care Dr Lannon became a regular visit to our home during the six months up to my sons passing last November. I will be forever grateful for the care and compassion he showed both him and us during this extremely difficult time. I never got to personally thank him for all he did for us.
He was one of the good ones and an absolute gentleman.
My sincere condolences to his wife, family, friends, Dr Devitt and his colleagues at the Plaza Clinic.

Sincere condolences to the family of Dr Lannon. He will be greatly missed by all his patients. His kindness and detail to listening to his patient was second to none. He was always so kind to those children and young adults we hosted from Belarus as part of Adi Roches Chernobyl Children International giving his time freely to see any whom nay have needed medical attention while here in Ireland. A true gentleman. May he Rest in Peace.

He was such a kind quiet gentleman, was always so thorough in his care and time with you. He also looked after me so well in my high risk pregnancy last year, am so so grateful to him for that & so sorry he never got to meet my little miracle boy..

Dr Lannon was my doctor and my sons doctor. My son has autism and Dr Lannon was so helpful to me and gave me great support over the years. He cared so much for his patients. Anytime I would go to him he would always ask me how my son was getting on. This meant a lot to me to have the support. I will never forget the support he gave me and I will find it very hard to get the same support again.

i had a rash on my stomach...Dr lannon circled it with a biro and sent me to emergency ..the doctor in ER asked who circled the rash ...my doctor i said....he laughed diagnosis by biro..you are a very lucky man to have him as your Gp.....Dr lannon kept me straight and steady through many years and despite his less than sunny disposition..i liked him..he was a real pro....and i suspect quite a character outside surgery...I hope he finds peace for himself and his family...sean t

Words can not describe the shock and pain that Paul’s passing has had on the community .This must be felt so ,so much more by his family and friends .Paul was a wonderful quiet ,gentle doctor and a very good listener .I also met him many times at basketball games as our daughters battled it out on opposite teams on court .His presence will be missed in so many ways .💐

Sincere condolences to Pauline, Michelle, Fiona, Niamh and the extended Lannon family on the sad passing of Paul. Paul was my doctor for over 20 years and I also knew him from the tennis club and the golf club. Paul was a thorough gentleman and one of the gentlest, calmest, and nicest people I have ever met. Paul would often ask me about my kids and when he talked about his daughters it was obvious he was very proud of them. Paul was taken way to soon and he will be greatly missed. I was shocked and truly heartbroken to hear of Paul's tragic passing.

Paul was both the gentlest of men and and a true gentleman. Always calm and professional, I found Paul to be incredibly kind during recent family illnesses. May he now be at peace.

I went to doctor Lannon when I was at my lowest, he was kind, caring and understanding to me at such a difficult time. I am so sorry to hear he was suffering too.
