On behalf of the staff, students, and wider community of Saint Mary's N.S, Pullough. I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of the late Paul, a valued former parent and a much-respected figure in our school and local community.

I had the privilege of teaching his son Paul, a kind, respectful, and mannerly young man, a reflection of the love and guidance he received at home. Paul Snr. was a proud and quiet supporter of our school, always ready to lend a hand or offer words of encouragement, especially in promoting sport and youth involvement. He celebrated every achievement of our young people and always encouraged them to stay active, focused, and proud of their efforts.

His dedication to his family, to sport, and to his community was remarkable. That legacy lives on in his son Paul, now a professional boxer, a journey shaped by the unwavering support and training of his devoted father and it lives on in the hearts and minds of each of his cherished family members.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Carmel, his children Ashling, Sinéad, Kevin, Róisín, and Paul, to his beloved grandchildren, his mother Rosaria, and to the extended family and friends who mourn his loss.

May he rest in peace, and may his kindness and legacy continue to inspire those who knew him.

To my wonderful Friend/Classmate Paul..such fond memories of our time in Ferbane Vocational School…it was such a lovely Reunion of our class on the 1st July 2023..and I was looking forward to seeing us all together next year for another one....as soon as I put it up on the WhatsApp group you were the 1st to offer your help in putting it together with me..The world will be a sadder and lonelier place without you Paul..you will be loved and missed by everyone who had the privilege to have known you..Rest in peace Paul🙏

Paul 'Looge' was one of the best. He was a great man to chat and 'sneer' - and no matter how long or short the conversation he always made sure to ask how everyone was keeping. He was Pullough to the core, and he will be so sadly missed by everyone in the community.

It's hard to put into words how much Paul meant to us all. As a former player, coach, committee member and life long supporter - he did it all for the club throughout the years.

But first and foremost he was a family man, and we are heartbroken for you all. Our deepest condolences to his wife Carmel, sons - Kevin and Paul, daughters Ashling, Sinéad and Roisín, his grandchildren, his beloved mother Rosaria, brothers Kevin, John and Carlo and your families. To all Paul's extended family, neighbours, friends we are thinking of you all.

'Looge' was one of the best, he was without doubt one great community man. The huge crowds that gathered in Pullough on Friday and Saturday is testament to who Paul was. We know Paul was a proud Pullough man, and we hope you take some solace in knowing how proud we all are of Paul. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Our community has had more than it's share of tragedies but Paul's passing has rocked us to the core.
A devout family man, a pillar of our community and a gifted workman who gave himself selflessly for other people's benefit.
A colleague in the Erin Rovers jersey he gave great service and dedication.
A leader in the dressing room and on the field, he was born to lead.
Not forgetting his wonderful sense of humour,he was always up for the craic.
I hope and pray that the wonderful tributes paid to Paul will help to ease the pain ye are suffering these last few days.

I remember the times when I went over to Ireland and we played as children, such great memories. RIP Paul, gone but will never be forgotten to those who loved you.
