We were so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. We have great memories of Paul being on “holidays” in Ballyhaise which included big family gatherings and celebrations. Paul was in the middle of it all. I always said hello to him when he passed me in Village, and he was probably thinking "who on earth is that" but he never let on, he always said hello and smiled. We'll miss but cherish all those little notes through the door first thing in the morning, the sticky notes on the door during our meetings and at dinner times. Paul was one of the first athletes to play with Carmona Table Tennis Club (Formerly Dunmore House Table Tennis, set up by some of the parents, including his beloved mum Marie.) A super competitor who always wanted to win the "medal not the ribbon"! Paul had a beautiful smile, a gorgeous heart and the twinkle of divilment in his eyes! Rest in the peace of the angels Paul, we are so thankful for all of the great times we had together and we will hold dear our treasured memories of you. From all your table tennis friends and coaches. Sincere condolences to Paul’s family and many friends, you are very much in our thoughts.

I worked with Paul in Elvira and am so grateful for all the joy he brought to our lives and great times we all shared. It won’t be the same without you Paul. A great man for keeping us up to date with fashion trends and loved a party, Paul was always right at your heels waiting and willing to help out in any way he could and he took great pride in looking out for the other residents in Elvira. Paul was like the best colleague we could have asked for! He even went as far as photocopying and laminating his own SJOG I.D badge to tie in nicely with his important role looking after the place with a clipboard in hand! I will miss you so much Paul, your smile, your big heart, thoughtfulness and great sense of humour. Rest in peace our dear friend ❤️

So sorry to hear about Paul's passing. Sending condolences to Peter, John, Jim, Denise, Breda and all your families. I grew up with Paul in Glenageary and he was always one of the gang. Later I worked with Paul for many years, not directly but I always kept an eye out for him and was proud to call him a friend. He loved talking about old times and memories and he would talk about his family every time we met. He was a lovely 'rouge' with a gentle, unique and fun personality. I'll always remember him and especially having tea with him in his apartment on numerous occasions and the Christmas tree up in all its glory in his bedroom (maybe in mid July).
I hope we can all find some comfort in the wonderful memories that Paul left behind and knowing that he's safe now in the arms of his mum and dad R.I.P lovely Paul xxx

So very saddened to hear of Paul's sudden passing. It has been my pleasure to have known him over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends at this sad time. Rest in peace, Paul.

To Peter, John, Jim and families, Paul was such a character, big bubbly personality, he would light up every room he walked into, loved the ladies and his vino. He is the only person I know who would plan his party 12 months in advance. He loved Christmas, planning who he would be staying with on what days, who would have the best food and the best wine and who would bring him to the pub most often. Paul was a great man for socialising, whether it was in the Graduate or in Seapoint Rugby Club. Paul was not the fastest walker but when there was a vino at the end of the walk he was like a whipping sprinting down the road, the fun we had with him when he realised it what his round and he actually had to part with some of his hard kept cash. Paul we will miss you dearly, R.I.P
