FATE IS THE HUNTER
Dear Siobhán, David and Leanne,
Many weeks later after Paul's death, I still cannot come to accept that he is gone. Paul was a true gentleman, a most talented teacher and person and a great friend. I always admired his devotion to his family. Words cannot express my sorrow and I know that you, his family must be absolutely devastated. Please get in touch if you need any guidance with the children's education as I know that Paul was so very proud of them. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Kathleen Lowney

My sincere sympathy to all the Mc Donald Family, and to the Staff and Students of North Presentation Secondary School on your great loss of Paul. He was a professional of the highest calibre and personified the Christian message of love.

Mr McDonnell (as we knew him) taught my brother & I in St. Aidan's Community College back in the 80's/90's. We will always remember him as a gentleman and great teacher. Even as we met him over the years he still would ask how we were doing and wished us well. My sincere sympathies with you, your children and your family. I hope you can take comfort in the knowledge that he was so well liked, respected by and an inspiration to all his students both past and present.
Rest in Peace, Paul. It is with heart filled sadness that I learnt of your death, you were a beautiful person and always full of life.
So sad to hear about Paul. I knew him from the SDPI course we did in Cork a few years ago. He was an absolute gentleman and so easy to get on with. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Sincerest sympathies to your family on this sad loss.

I grew up with Paul on the SCR in Limerick and had lost touch since we left school. I have happy memories of Paul growing up together. He loved scate boarding. My sincerest condolescences to all his family. May he rest in peace.
My condolences at this sad time to his family and fellow teachers, a great light has gone out in the lives of people who had the privilege of knowing him but the glow will remain in the memories of those who did.
