sincere condolences to Paul's family. He will be greatly missed by many. One of the most positive people i have ever met with a wonderful engaging personality and infectious good humour. I will miss turning a corner in Dublin 2 and bumping into him. he was always a breath of fresh air.
I first met him at City Limits, He was pure energy and ideas.

So sad to learn that the Lord has taken Paul off the pitch so unexpectedly when he was still giving it his everything, as he always did.

We usually would meet every week for lunch, the last time a few days before he went to Spain. He was a funny and kind man and if I feel so sad at his loss what must his family feel. He convinced me to leave my civil service job and join him in setting up a wholesale business with Charlie O Loughlin. Paul and I have remained friends for the last 50 years and I will always admit that Paul’s work ethic , motivation and incredible business acumen were invaluable experiences in guiding me when starting my own retail career. Like all his many friends I am shocked by Paul’s sudden passing and will miss him greatly along with his almost daily “ inspirational What’s App messages” May he Rest in Peace.
