It is with the greatest sorrow that I heard today of the passing of Retired Firefighter - Paul Mulcahy - Paul served on " A"watch - Finglas Fire Station - and then in Tara Street Fire Headquarters - Dublin Fire Brigade - until his well earned Retirement - I had the greatest privilege to having worked with Paul - I found him to be a great friend - a great Firefighter - and great to work with - always ready to lend a helping hand to all - he will be sadly missed by his loving family and all his friends - and especially by his second family in the Fire services - Sleep tight Paul your shift is over - May you be in heaven a day before the Devil knows that you are gone - Rest In Peace - Your old mate Buzzer

Catherine, Louise, David and Conor, I am so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. Paul and I were very good friends from the time you lived in Swords and Dunboyne. While we only had limited contact over the past few years, I have memories that I will cherish forever. Life and circumstances cause people to drift apart, but I do hope that Paul has gone on to a better place. Both Grainne, Colm, Adam and myself offer our deepest condolences to you all. May Paul Rest in Eternal Peace.
