Very sorry to hear of Paul's passing, very fond memories of our days spent in primary and secondary school in Drimnagh Castle, we played football together in school and for me too briefly with "Councel"..a lovely person, condolences to the family.

Sad news on the passing of Paul.
Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
I knew Paul in the late 70s and early 80s in Drimnagh Castle and Good Counsel GAA.
He was a gentleman, with a warm welcome for everyone and wicked sense of humour. He was generous to a fault and had the gift of making everyone feel special.
He was a talented footballer, brave, skilful and committed and it was a pleasure to play alongside him.
He will be missed by many, but I am confident that he is at peace, alongside the Almighty, and probably has the songbook out looking to get the 'Session' started.
