Fiona, very sorry to hear the sad news about your Dad's passing. Sincere sympathy to you and your family. RIP
A truly lovely Uncle. I have fond memories of swimming in Uncle Paul & Aunty Vera’s pool as a child growing up in Zimbabwe. Uncle Paul always made us feel better when we were sick & he had so much patience with us children even when we caused havoc for the adults. So many happy memories of laughing together as a family until our tummies hurt! Rest In Peace Uncle Paul. You are sorely missed.

Paul was a great buyer of presents for his grandsons. Much was the excitement when a parcel slip arrived - Pops found the best of comics, the best of model aeroplane kits too.
Bruce and I absolutely identified with his love of warmer seas!
We'll miss his laugh, reminiscences it was of brother Tim's laugh too.
Sending much love and special thoughts for you all tomorrow.

Saddened to learn of Paul’s passing. Paul was a real gentleman and a top physician whose focus was always on caring for his patients and supporting his colleagues. The Health Service is a much poorer place without him. Sincere condolences to family and friends.

A wonderful supportive colleague, caring doctor and friend. Paul was always very enthusiatic about his work with enviable boundless energy. He also had a great sense of humour and was a raconteur of amusing anecdotes. Sadly crushed by the untimely death of his beloved Vera. RIP Paul.
I knew Paul over a number of years, first as his trainee and later as his colleague. He worked incredibly hard and was always smiling, brightening the room wherever he was. Both his patients and his colleagues loved him dearly. He has been an inspiration to me and many others. Rest in peace Paul.
I have the fondest memories of the pleasure of working with Paul after he arrived in Wales when he came to Bridgend initially . A very kind, considerate and gentle Dr with a wealth of knowledge and it was my privilege to work with him. Since moving to New Zealand I have met a mutual colleague in Ian Termouth who knew Paul from Zimbabwe - such a small world but only recently we shared memories of a great colleague. We reminisced about our friend Paul and I’m sad to hear this news. Many condolences to his family- a truly lovely chap!
Dr Neill was a great consultant to work for; kind and supportive, he always had time for you. My commiserations to his family during this difficult time.
I am so very sorry to hear about the death of Paul. My condolences to the whole family. I went to school with Paul in Rhodesia. First of all at Marlborough Primary School and then high school at Ellis Robins. He was such a great guy with a fabulous sense of humour. In our last year at high school I remember that he was a prefect and we played hockey together. RIP Paul.
I can't say how sad I feel to here this wonderful soul has passed.
Always remembered ,never forgotten.

I remember Dr Neill being a kind and knowledgeable consultant when I was a junior doctor, and he remained equally supportive and encouraging when I became a consultant. He was never too busy to offer advice or to share the benefits of his vast experience. A fantastic colleague and a wonderful human being, he will be sadly missed.
I am so sorry to hear of the sad passing of my very dear former colleague and friend Paul. My sympathies are with his family who are all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. He was a wonderful, kind and gentle man, and the most wonderful doctor. It was my privilege to work with him for many years in South Wales where we were both adopted 'Welsh', but still longed for Ireland. I will forever remember his fantastic sense of humour and his beautiful smile. Rest in peace my friend, till we meet again. 🤍🕊

So very shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Paul so early into his retirement and so soon after Vera’s untimely death. My heart goes out to his family - Fiona, Adam and James and extended Neill and Gahan families. Vera and her family were childhood friends and near neighbours of mine in Dunmanway. We met again in our adopted home of Clonakilty some years ago where she introduced me to Paul, a lovely gentle man. May you take comfort in that they are together again.
Our sincere condolences to the Neill and Gahan families on your sad loss. May Paul rest in eternal peace 🙏

Such a warm, wonderful and generous man, devoted to Aunty Vera and you all, and so thoughtful about Mary and John.
