Fearghal, Ross, Connell and Brid,
We were devastated to hear of Paul's passing after a difficult spell in hospital. He is going to be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. I still remember watching the 1982 world cup at Granny O'Beirne's alongside Paul, Gerard, Teddy and Granny. Its hard seeing my family passing with time. It's one of my fondest life long memories. For as long as Paul has been my uncle, I was always impressed with his passion and tenacity in seeking justice and proper care for people with medical needs like your brother Neill. It has been a difficult past couple of years, but you have all dealt with these burdens with grace, dignity and strength. I always looked up to Paul as being an inspiration over the years, in watching him return to law school and become a lawyer. You should be immensely proud of your father, as that was no small feat for a mature student. Paul always worked as hard as he could through difficult times and never complained. After the terrible loss of your mother, he did everything he could to ensure that you all had a chance to have fulfilling lives. His innate goodness will long be remembered by his family, friends and colleagues and we truly hope that he has found peace in being able to join Jackie and Neill in spirit. Please take care of yourselves and we wish you all the best in good health, happiness and prosperity in the future. Love always from your cousin Steve, Yumiko, Sakura and Sienna xoxo
