My condolences to Megan and Kasey on the passing of their dad Paul. Thinking of you both at this extremely hard time, my thoughts are with you. Keep your head high.

From the moment I met Paul in July 2013 — tripping over a pub doormat and straight into his arms — he made me feel so loved and special. He was my biggest supporter, always lifting me up when I felt weak. His hugs could make anything better, right up until his very last breath. Life wasn’t always easy, but we faced everything together — “you and me, we’ll get through this” was our mantra. I was all unicorns and rainbows; Paul was facts and reality — but we just worked.

He loved our little family fiercely and was so proud of the children. He encouraged them constantly — to work hard, stay focused, and trust that everything would fall into place. He adored watching them play hurling, never missing a match, rain or shine. He bragged endlessly about their skills — even if they might end up playing for Dublin, not Cork!

Paul was calm, steady, and deeply romantic. He loved simple things — family dinners, weekends away, walks with the dogs, and a pint or two. When he fell ill in May, he was moved by the incredible kindness of our GAA community, friends, and neighbours.

Thank you all for the love and care shown to us over these past months — especially to Beaumont Hospital, St. Francis Hospice, Gentle Hands, and all the community carers.

Paul O’Mahony was a true gentleman — adored, respected, and loved beyond measure. Our time together was too short, but full of beautiful memories.

Sleep well, handsome. You were my rock, my best friend, my soulmate. Love you always, Keogh xx

It was with great sadness that I heard of Paul's untimely passing. My deepest condolence to Sharon and all the O'Mahony family. I had the privilege of having worked with Paul on MSD sites and I will always remember his warmth and kindness. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
