He was my first ever football manager and a man with a burning passion for the sport that inspired me and many others around me to push themselves to dig deeper and be better. Paul was such a wonderful person, kind and supportive and a great role model and manager to our son when he first started out playing football at the age of 7 for RVR. He made a lasting impact on him and it will never be forgotten. We sure did have some great memories, winning the cup in dalymount still gets spoken about to this day. Rest in peace Paul.

When we heard this terrible news, it knocked the wind out of our sails. Paul there will never be anyone like you. You had it all. A wonderful sense of humour, a generosity that knew no end, an endless curiosity, a dedication to the community and a superb pitch and putter. Wherever you are heading next, we are sure the "green door" will open wide for you!
