As Christians we long for others to see Christ through us, in our lives and actions. Paul was the epitome of that example. Through his charity and kindness he was a modern day disciple. I am blessed to have known him. His character now shines through his two joyful sons and his beautiful wife. They continue to bless others, just as Paul did.

Paul Power, what an interesting & fun man. My first meeting with him was him driving the Ballyfermot girls home after club at DCM. I was checking out DCM & he needed someone in the van with him to bring them home. He got lost & the girls abused me verbally & throwing wet chocolate at me. I wanted to give out to him then & there :) Another big memory was one of our first DCM camps together, he was my prayer warrior and we seen a real change in teens hearts. Paul also walked around the DCM neighborhood with me praying for families and inviting them into the club...and things changed from then forward. His prayers were more powerful than he ever imagined! Can't wait for the Reunion with him & other believers in heaven

Paul was mild mannered yet MIGHTY, peaceful yet POWERful! He and Karen were some of my first friends in the year of moving to Ireland and working at the Dublin Christian Mission. He was an amazing co-worker and made me feel comfortable working in a new country and environment. He was a constant, consistent and Christ-like person to be around. We shared lots of fun times at the Mission and especially at Drewstown House. He will be sorely missed!

Paul was a true legend and a great uncle. He was so good to us growing up. He used to tell us great stories or bring us to cool places.His big heart,sense of humour and adventurous spirit was contagious. Paul was an amazing man of god and an inspiration to me. Never forget the stories and the memories.

I was very sad to hear of Paul’s passing. My condolences to Karen Luke and Matthew. I spent some time with Paul on a sailing trip some years ago and was very impressed with his commitment to his faith and fascinating stories from his time on the merchant ships. He will be missed.
