It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Paul. A true gentleman in every sense. Paul was a joy to work and socialise with —clever, witty, and always ready with a helping hand. His sharp sense of humour and well-timed jokes brought many smiles and laughs to those around him.

Shocked and saddened to hear the news. Paul was a great friend at school and though we lost touch after I left Ireland, I kept fond memories of our times together and we occasionally chatted on social media. Always one of those people I wanted to reconnect with in Waterford. As someone else said here, "he was good at everything and modest with it." Farewell, old friend.

Shocked to read of Paul's passing. Such a friendly good humoured chap and always gave of his time for a chat. Only met him on the prom in Tramore a few months ago with his partner and had a good chat. A talented and humble sportsman especially at soccer and will be sorely missed by all who knew him RIP Paul.
