Dear Ann, so sorry to read of Paul’s death in today’s paper. I remember your parents as great friends of my aunt, Rita Maher (Macken, Enniskillen) and visits to Mount Merrion. I also remember you and Helen, of course. Much sympathy on your loss and kindest regards.

It is very sad to hear of the passing of Paul Regan. A great Bective Rangers stalwart. He will be remembered also with great fondness and respect by the many in Bective Tennis Club who knew him and dealt with him. A real gentleman and a model of integrity. R.I.P.

Very sorry to hear of the death of Paul. We last met on 4th October at a reunion of or Mount Anville Montessori class, where we started together in 1956, and he was in his usual good spirits. He was also at our Gonzaga 50 year reunion In April. He moved from Gonzaga to Clongowes, but we were reunited in the BComm in 1971 and then we both joined Griffin Lynch (now part of EY) on the same day in 1974. We were the only two recruits that year, and one of the Partners brought us in to introduce ourselves to one-another the previous Friday, not realising that we had been fraternising since the age of 3!
I have fleeting cine clips of Paul at children’s parties in our house at Goatstown Road and fond memories of early 1960s visits to The Moorings - the first home in which I ever saw a dishwasher. Also Sunday Regan family outings to Brittas Bay, until Paul’s move to Clongowes changed the circumstances.
My condolences to Anne & Michael, and Helen and the wider family.
May Paul rest in peace.

Always a pleasure to meet Paul, all the more so when he was in the company of his long time friends in 'The Dollies', they always enjoyed the craic in Bective, alongwith their trips to Kerry and the Canaries. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. R.I.P.
