So sad to hear about Paul’s untimely death. He was the only schoolmate I was still in touch with. The world is a little colder without him.

I was so very blessed to have known Paul. We worked together a few years ago and kept in touch as he liked to say, you get my humour 💜. I will miss him randomly appearing on messenger and how we would catch up and have a deep and meaningful chat. I am so deeply sorry to all those who loved him which was very easy to do. Rest easy my much loved friend until we meet again. ❤️

So sad, we made our confirmation together, and although l moved to London we still kept in touch. Paul was such a great friend to all who knew him and always put everyone ahead of himself. He appreciated people checking in to see how he was doing. I think the kindness shown to him by others, overwhelmed him quite a bit. He once joked that he had that many cards with holy prayers on in his room, that you would think you were in the Vatican, followed swiftly by - "but every one of them is appreciated" He put up such a brave fight and was doing so well but the last two years were tough. He gained his strength from the love and support he had from his family and friends and his zest for life. He loved a sun holiday, a pint and Liverpool although not always in that order. Thinking of his heartbroken parents, Ray and Lena, who have lost their only son and his sisters, Yvonne, Caroline & Vickie, who have lost their only brother, their pain is just beginning. To all who knew and loved him, speak his name often and share the good times, so as to keep Pauls memory alive. May your gentle soul rest forever in eternal peace.

Looking back over the years, we were privileged as parents & neighbours, to share such good times with all our children who later grew into adults and never lost their neighbourly community friendship. It’s so sad, once again, as neighbours, we have to live through losing another of that happy group of young people with whom, as parents, we shared our lives in friendship and affection. Paul Kelleher (Scally) was one of that group of children and was such a lovely lad who was always so pleasant to meet and engage effortlessly in conversation. He was a young man who epitomised decency, respect and his personality was loved by all with whom he ever befriended. His demise has deeply affected us all.
Alas, his lovely friendly banter and cheerful greeting is no more.
