I worked in the cex near where he worked and he was the kindest soul and always made our day when he visited. We have only just heard and are all so saddened to hear of this. Paul was a friend to all of us in Stillorgan and our deepest sympathy our with his family and friends. Love the stillorgan cex team

We were shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Paul. A regular customer in our Stillorgan branch, Paul always had a joke to tell or a story share. Thank you all who came out in love and support for our family yesterday and today for Paul Simpson RIP. It was lovely to see everyone and it helped make us feel a lot better. It was a beautiful service and very moving. Thank you Father Joe and team at St. Theresa's Church, the Choir, the Irish musicians, my family from the North who came down, Tesco's Stillorgan and Shopping centre community where Paul worked and friends who knew him for the kind words and condolences. We know Paul is in a better place now and that he lived a rich full life thanks to you. Rest in eternal peace and may the perpetual light shine up on him. He will be deeply missed by us.
