Just a line to offer my sincere condolences to Paul's family at this sad time. I have nothing but good memories of his company at house parties, UK trips and country weddings within our circle of friends, over the years. Was it really that many moons ago? Ah, time, why fly so. Paul had an inquisitive spirit and a genuine soul. No doubt he will be sadly missed. Linda lu
I am so sad to hear of Paul’s passing. He was a wonderful genuine warm and funny person, who was truly unique. Tech mad and into everything, he still made time to really talk to people. I have such lovely memories of parties shared in Dublin and the odd country wedding over the years. Never one seeking to be the center of attention, but always up for a good chat and a laugh, and that is how I will always think of him. The world has lost a wonderful man, but we are richer for having known him. My family and I send you his family our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Audrey
My thoughts and prayers go to Paul's family and friends at this time. Paul will always remain in my memory as a strong and loyal friend and a great support. We shared many happy moments in Dublin with a great circle of friends. Only the good die young - but you will live on in our memories Paul. Marion (Sydney).
So sad to hear about Paul's untimely passing. We've lost a genuinely kind and sincere friend who always had time for you. Even looking at the messages here brings back memories of circles of friends from all walks of life and background that Paul made. He connected so effortlessly with anyone and was always open and outward-looking with an ever-inquisitive mind. A truly charming guy who will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Paul's family at this difficult time.

It is with great sadness that I write this note. Anna and I will be meeting many of you for the first time when we travel to Ireland in July. Please know that Paul is in our thoughts and prayers as are all of you.
We will always remember Paul as the fun loving man who on Christmas day taught (basically) 4 strangers in his sisters house how to play 25, and then weeks later was willing to drive way out of his way to join us for dinner. To our Irish family, the Smith's, we love you all so much and wish you peace in memories.
Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew him..He was one of the kindest people I had the privilege to know.

“There is a loneliness more precious than life. There is a freedom more precious than the world. Infinitely more precious than life and the world is that moment when one is alone with God.”

“On the path of Love we are neither masters nor the owners of our lives. We are only a brush in the hand of the Master Painter.”
