Dear Bernie & Family. Just got a call from Dublin this evening to tell me about Paul’s death. I was very shocked to hear the sad news. May his soul rest in peace. Myself & all my family offer our deepest sympathy at this difficult time.

I have such fond memories from back in the day when we were growing up and the Smithers family were our next door neighbours on Loreto Avenue in Rathfarnham for many years. They were the best of times.
