Paul (TP) Kelly

I was so sorry to hear the sad news of Paul’s passing . My sincere condolences to all of his family . I worked with Paul on the admin side when we both found ourselves in the State Laboratory. Paul always made an effort to get on with everyone and I have some good memories from my time working with him. May he rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul in the State Laboratory in Abbottstown almost 25 years ago. He had a ready smile and an easy manner while always being on top of his job professionally. He was a great addition to the admin team and is a sad loss to the Civil Service. Condolences to his family and friends.

To Paul's parents, his sister, the extended Kelly Family and to dearest Jullee, I'd like to pass on my condolences to you all at this such sad and lonely time. I've great memories of working directly with and to Paul on an Oireachtas Commitee way back in 2004. We stayed very good friends since then and his personal touch and sense of humour were second to none. This is far too sudden after his varied Civil Service career and such well deserved recent retirement. May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

There are those in a life that make a contribution far beyond expectations. My journey with Paul started back around 1987 when we teamed up for holidays at Sunshine House, Balgriggan. Over the subsequent years he became involved in the Conference and what a contribution he was to make. Editing the annual Advocate paper for several years, promoting the development of child focus projects and investing in the holiday infrastructure that still stands in testament to his persistence, vision and sense of what made life better for children. A great friend and tireless worker, never one to panic and a person who could see the positivity in even the more difficult of situations. Our friendship spanned the decades. The world has truly lost and inspirational human who led with a heart of gold and a cheeky cheery smile. I will remember you every time I look around the playgrounds in Sunshine House - the projects your pioneered will stand as a monument to a graceful, respected, funny, determined and much loved man who has left a beautiful legacy on many lives.
To Jullee, your parents, sisters and extended families I offer my condolences and want you to know that your sadness is shared by so many of Pauls friends and acquaintances. May he rest easy knowing that he has done a lot of good for those less fortunate that himself. God rest his gentle soul.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. A thorough gentleman regarded so highly by all who met him. I had the pleasure of knowing Paul both professionally and personally. Paul was greatly respected in Leinster House, where he performed his job with true professionalism and dedication. Courteous to a fault and helpful to everyone.
