To Uncle Paul, i will always remember coming to Granny's on our holiday's from Canada to visit family. You would make me laugh with your silly jokes and carry-on lol! You would also take me up the road to St Monica's on a Sunday evening for Mass then let me hang about with you and your friends.

Dear Uncle Paul,

I was so saddened to hear the news of your passing. You were always so kind and definitely one of my fun uncles - you were always making all the kids laugh and entertaining us.

I have so many fond memories of you from when I was a child, as well as other not so fond ones (such as when you made toast with whole garlic cloves as the topping and tried to persuade me that it was really good and that I should try it)! 🤣

I hope that wherever you are now, you are at peace and happy. ❤️

Shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of Paul at such a young age. Paul was a gentle kind and caring guy, haven't seen him since our Mitchel St. days, back in the day Paul was lovely and very kind hearted as are all the Wilkies. Thinking about Paul's own family, Mrs Wilkie and all his siblings rest in Pease Paul.

We are so sorry to learn of Paul's sudden death. his warm welcome each time Feena attended the Orchard Day Centre ensured she was happy to join the other clients. He also was a lovely reassuring presence when we collected her in the evening. We had greatly missed you over the last months. Our sincere condolences to all your family.

Dear Uncle Paul,

Not only do we share the same name, but we also share a passion for everything that is Scottish. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Mum has told me many times how excited you were (as a young lad) to come into the maternity ward and see me as a newborn. I will always be grateful for that.

You made me chuckle when you thought I was on international spy duties when I worked away in Asia; thank you for making me laugh, and thank you for being you.

I worked with him in the Orchard a fair few years ago.
He was always professional, and a kind and gentle soul especially to the clients that attended there.

I want you all to know what a genuine gentleman and such a professional Paul was to my Dad. We got to know Paul in the Orchard Centre and each and every day Dad was welcomed by Paul was such a great day. Paul was kindness personified - a welcome smile, a lovely greeting and a warm "will you come in for a coffee" made my Dad feel as if he was going in for a coffee with a good friend. We often spoke about the weather, my love of Scotland and Paul's love of walking at the weekends. We are so sorry for this tremendous and unexpected passing. Paul's gentle manner will be remembered always and I hope now he will Rest in Peace.

So sorry to hear of his sudden passing. I worked with Paul for over 5 years til Christmas 2017. He was a dedicated and compassionate nurse. He loved to have fun, spoke so often of his life in Scotland and truly was a gentleman, full of wisdom and patience.
