Paul was my boss, colleague and friend for many years. He was considerate and compassionate and a great help to me in my early career. He was unique, always with an alternative way of looking at things that few others could see. A wicked sense of dry humour and an easy laugh. I will miss him and I can only imagine the loss you are feeling. RIP.

To all Pauls family. I send my love. Paul called me in Toronto last fall to see if i was still with the living. Yes that’s what he said. Elaine and I were close and i visited her grave in KilMcCreedy. I Left a St Brigids cross. Now when we visit Ireland next, God willing I will do the same for Paul. May they be together again loving. We’ll meet again.
