(née Woodley)

I met Paula and Tony (as I was introduced to him, but Paula would always call him Anthony - probably so he never knew if he was in trouble or not!!) in 1990 - wow time flies. I regret not being able to spend as much time with two of the kindest people I had the privilege to know in the last few years. Paula's door was always open, and their kindness to me and support and friendship when it was needed was invaluable, but that was who Paula and Tony were. As the years went by I heard the stories about grandchildren and these were definitely two of the best grandparents ever.

My heart remains broken for you Louise, Susan, Danny & Toni and your families - Somewhere they are happy again together.

I’m so sorry it’s taken me a while to write this. Every time I tried, I found myself lost in memories—from the very first day I met you—and the tears wouldn’t stop. I just couldn’t find the right words.

I miss you more than words can say. Maybe this isn’t the place to say it, but every moment I spent with you is still in my heart.

I never had the chance to meet Anthony, but somehow, I always felt his presence around you. Thank you for sharing so many stories about him and your family with me. Even in your sadness, when the grief of losing him brought tears to your eyes, you still found a way to laugh, to take care of me, and to lift my spirits. Your kindness and strength meant the world to me.

I hope you and Anthony are together again, side by side, at peace. In my heart, I know you are.

Someday, I hope we will meet again. When that time comes, I’d love nothing more than to cook together again and exchange little notes, just like we used to.

To Paula’s family, my deepest condolences. Meeting Paula changed my life in the most wonderful way. I will always be grateful for her love and kindness, and I am truly grateful to all of you as well.

Paula just lived for Anthony and her Family.I loved Paula with all my heart,Paula passed away far to soon .I remember things ,from our childhood.We had a big backyard and Paula and myself,would play for hrs.Than around 15/16 she met Anthony,the love of her life .They were so much in love and they were never apart.I loved you Paula and will miss you Paula .RIP my beautiful Sister .🙏

Paula, you were such a bright shining star and really such a loving, caring woman who everybody loved. You welcomed us into your family and I will be forever grateful.

Rest in power Auntie Paula, who as a teenager drove the Dean of the local seminary to write to granny to ask you and Auntie Lillian to stop walking through the grounds as you were both so beautiful that you were distracting the novice priests. Not long afterwards you met your true love, Uncle Tony, and after decades of marriage, and five children, you still looked at each other like love struck teens. I have so many happy childhood memories from your love filled home in Clonsilla, that was still so full of joy and laughter any time I returned home and we sat around the kitchen table. Or that mad weekend in Sydney, where you told me I was much more fun after a few wines, and our last recent meeting at a café in Nice, where you still had the same sharp wit, giggle and twinkle in your eye as always. The strength to keep going and finding joy in life after loss, was driven by your love for your children and grandchildren. And you were strong and brave until the end. Auntie Paula, you will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you. Love always Lynn.
