It is with immense shock and sadness that I have learned of Paula's untimely passing, I worked with Paula in Allianz and it was always a pleasure working with her, a lovely warm, fun loving person. Deepest condolences to all the family at this very hard time. RIP Paula

I worked a lot with Paula when I was back in Security Admin so I knew her very well. I was very sad to learn she passed away. Please know that I'm thinking of everyone and will keep my fond memories close to my heart.

I was in school with Paula through primary and Secondary school and will always remember her as a kind gentle girl with a wicked sense of fun and a smile that could light up a room.

When Paula joined the Survey Team, over ten years ago, she was conscientious, she worked hard and was a very considerate work mate. But she was much more than that - she brought, in abundance, her great sense of fun and good humour. She was a joy to work with and our work life was never dull but then neither was our social life, so many memorable nights (and days) out. She'll be very sadly missed by me and by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

We were very lucky to have her, but then so very unlucky to lose her - so soon and so tragically.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Paula's family and friends. Paula was such a genuine, fun-loving person. On company nights out, I would always gravitate towards Paula because it guaranteed me great conversations, a good slagging match and plenty of laughs. I'll especially miss her witty sarcasm. When my son was born 6 months ago, Paula organised a present for him while she was in hospital. Teddy wore that outfit for the first time last week. Just one example of how thoughtful and kind Paula was. She was such a proud mother and grandmother. She loved talking about family life and was besotted with baby Jack. I am so sorry for your loss.

It is with great sadness, I am writing this. I have so many lovely memories of our galavanting over the last 20 plus years as the first class mothers. The nights were never long enough even though on occasions we bumped into the milkman on our way home. You will be so missed but never forgotten in our conversations. I was so shocked & saddened to hear the news of Paula's passing and I want to offer my sincere condolences to her husband Tom and family along with the Lavin family who I knew so well when I was growing up. Paula was my best friend during our school years and we had the very best time going through all the teenage rites of passage together. While life took us in different directions it's no surprise to see that her warmth and kindness continued to attract new friendships and create a legacy that feels very familiar based on the young girl I knew. The whole of the Patten family was profoundly saddened to hear of her passing and we send Pat, Donald, Mel, Ger and Derek our condolences, and also of course to Tom and her children & grandchildren. May she rest in peace and may her legacy of kindness be a source of great pride & comfort to her family.
