Unfortunately, I only had the opportunity to work with Paula for a short period of time in the Inspectorate but she was so kind and caring - a lady to her finger tips. I was very sorry to hear about Paula's passing. It was always a pleasure to meet her at events in the Inspectorate. Paula's passion for her work, her joie de vivre and her positivity has left a lasting impression. Sincere sympathy to all of Paula's family at this very sad time.

Sincere condolences to all of Paula's family at this very sad time. Paula was such a great friend to me for at least 30 years. She was such fun to be with and so supportive too. I will miss her so much. I'll miss her wisdom, kindness and insight. I was awestruck too by her courage throughout her illness. I was away for the funeral but was able to watch the lovely service online. RIP Paula.

Condolences to Paula's family and friends. Having had some time to reflect on Paula's passing, there are still no words to describe the void that remains in our lives in general and in Wesley Lawns. Paula was a friend more than a neighbour. The world was a better place because of her. While her presence in our lives will be dearly missed, she will remain present in our hearts, minds and prayers. Our daughter was blessed to have Paula as her junior infant teacher. She was loved and respected by parents and children alike. The love of learning she instilled in those young minds remained always.
Years later as an inspector she would still ask after and remember her.
The compassion she showed when a family bereavement coincided with a school inspection stands out in James' memory.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of our lovely colleague Paula. She was an amazing teacher and gave so much to the community of Knocklyon. We still feel her legacy here today. To all Paula's family and many friends, I would like to say how deeply sorry I am to hear of Paula's passing. I worked with Paula in the Department of Education and remember her as a warm, kind, and very wise colleague. We had so much fun on inspections together and at social events. I relied very heavily on her for her advice and support which were always sound and readily forthcoming. I particularly appreciated the support she gave me around decisions regarding my own son's education. She was just such a lovely person and the world will be a lot less colourful without her.
