To the O'Meara family
I am originally from Galway now living in England for almost 30 years. I met Paula when I went to UCG in 1980 to do Science and all of the comments describe Paula's infectious personality and her love for life to a tee. She was too young to go but I am sure she has touched so many lives in a positive way and instilled some of her wonderful traits in her children, family and friends.

I'm so sad to hear of Paula's death. I went to school with her from age four until seventeen and she was always a lively person to have around Salthill. I remember a fun weekend with her in Larne during first Science. Any school friends I've mentioned it to have all been saddened. She was taken far too young. Sincere condolences to her family.
Sincere sympathy to Jimmy, boys and O'Meara family. I remember Paula who was a friend of my sister Antoinette in our house in Dr Mannix Rd. A bubbly fun loving girl, always laughing and having the craic. She will be missed so much by family and friends. Rest in peace Paula. Xx
I met Paula in 1980 in first year science UCG. After those simple and fun days I met her again in Boston in the 1980's and then again after a few decades by chance in Carton House Hotel a few years ago with her lovely husband and boys.
I can say that Paula never changed from that vibrant, fun loving, status quo challenging 1st year science student she was a burst of energy and fun. Paula, may you rest in peace.
