Dear Donal, Michael, Eileen and Miriam sending you all my sincere condolences. I remember Paula with great fondness. Keeping you all in thought and prayers.
I was saddened to hear of Paula’s passing. Paula and I were cello buddies a long time ago but unfortunately since I moved away from Dublin we only met up a few times. My condolences to you all and I will remember Paula with affection.

We met during the run of performances of South Pacific at Cork Opera House in August 1991 when Paula was on annual summer leave from the National Symphony Orchestra and seamlessly slotted into the cello seat in the orchestra pit.
Such a gentle and unassuming lady,we had some lovely chats as her late dad taught my own dad in the boys national school in Blackrock many moons ago.
May she rest in eternal peace 🙏

I was very sorry to hear of Paula’s death. I have fond memories of her in St. Anne’s Sion Hill in the 60s. Even tho’ we lost touch I often thought of her & what a talented person she was.

She was a true lady and although she was a cellist in the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland she had no hesitation in playing with the music ministry in the prayer group at The Divine Master at White's Cross. As Joy Caswell I knew Paula and lived with her in an apartment in Sandymount for a short while. I would have met you around that time also.
In spite of her difficulties, Paula was always sweet and gentle. She never hid her Christian faith which sustained her.

Miriam - I am so sorry to hear the news of Paula. I will cherish all the good memories I have of Paula during our many months together in St Peter’s. She was truly unique and had a great sense of humour. Im humbled to have got to know her and spend time with her. Her checky grin lit up the room.
