Paula was a lovely person and a great nurse. she cared deeply for her patients and clients and was so proud of her family. I was glad to have known her in Ballygall HC. I was so sorry to hear of her passing.

My Sincerest sympathies to you and your boys at this really sad time. This is my god ,such a difficult time for you to have lost Paula so young. You may not remember Dj and I .I did my midwifery with Paula in Our Lady of Lourdes in 1990.She was a lovely person and we had many laughs and shared many memories together .She was so easy to be around.30 years ago is a long time when you look back and unfortunately ,we did not stay in touch. I met her a good few years at a conference in Dublin and she looked just as I remembered. She was a beautiful girl and I will always remember her fondly. I remember Dj and I announced our engagement at your wedding. You looked very happy together and I was thrilled that she had met you . She always went the extra mile for her clients, and mothers’ and children in her area. She often spoke of her two beloved boys in work. She will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace.

In 1991, I gave birth to my first child, and during my two week hospitalisation, I will never forget Paula (Matthews). Paula was so kind and so helpful and encouraging. I have never seen her since but will always remember her. Sincere condolences to Paula's husband, sons and family. Rest in peace.
