Caroline and all the O’Kelly family , I was greatly saddened to hear, only today, of the passing of your dear Mom Paula. She was a true lady, beautiful inside and out, always with a smile and kind word to anyone she met. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

My memory of Paula goes back to a wonderful holiday she spent with us in Tramore as a girl of 18 years - she was and remained a beautiful person in looks and in spirit. She took a great interest in Alice my sister who went to visit her in Sutton on many occasions. A great loss to all who knew her.

Sincere condolences to all on the death of Paula. May she rest in peace.

Paula and my mother Patricia (née Hogan) met on their first day walking to school in 1940 and they were to remain friends for the next 73 years. Paula would later become one of the bridemaids when my parents married in 1960.

The O'Kelly and Kay families were in close contact in the ensuing years, with many reciprocal visits. It was a great shock when Michael died in 1990, but I had the honour of being able to attend his funeral. I regret that I cannot be there in person for Paula's funeral, but my younger brothers Julian and Rupert will be representing the Kay family.

I remember Paula as kind, calm, considerate and hospitable. It was always a pleasure to be in her company.

May she rest in peace.

I have missed seeing your mum out walking between home and Sutton Cross these last few years. She was always smiling and had a warm and graceful disposition.
A beautiful, smart and independent lady who took me on my first ever trip through Dublin Port Tunnel, back in 2007. She had Caroline and myself in it before we could think twice about it!!
I'm so saddened to hear of Paula's passing. I know this will be a huge loss to you all. Sending my love and deepest condolences to each of you and to all the family.

I was very saddened to hear of Paula's passing. I have very fond memories of visiting the O'Kelly household on many occasions, many years ago, where she always met me with the greatest welcome and warmest hospitality. May Paula Rest in Peace.
