So sorry to hear about the passing of my friend Pauline. To all of Pauline's family, especially Colin, we offer our deepest condolences. Pauline was one of a kind: caring, witty, intelligent, proud, very intuitive and really ahead of her time. I know she will be incredibly missed by all who knew her. To Pauline's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Pauline a few times in Surrey at my sister Mary Moody's. I remember a very stylish woman with a wicked sense of humor. She was a lady. A fine and at times doughty innings for sure - what a shame Ma did not make it to a century. LBW bowled Stomach Operation ... 90.

She was a great organizer at times - when I did a surprise visit for Billy's 80th she persuaded him that Uncle Tommy had sent over a special tree for the garden on the Ferry to Rosslare - and for quarantine reasons he had to sign for it at the Port itself - to get Billy to leave the comfort zone of Coolmaine on a cold winter's evening was no small feat. Plus she got the staff to play along and tell Billy to wait in a special area while the tree was unloaded - I walked in and said sorry but the tree has just been found to have Dutch Elm disease.

She was also a saint at times. Ma made a special effort to be at Willy's side when he passed away and gave him words of comfort in his final moments.

Be at peace now with Billy.
