Pauline Barrett

We were so saddened to hear of Pauline’s passing. We often met her out walking her lovely dog, Sky — always throwing the ball with her stick and sharing such happy moments together.
Pauline always had a warm smile and a friendly chat for everyone she met. She’ll be fondly remembered by all of us and by everyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with her.

Our walks to the playground were never complete without waving in the window to Pauline. She seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. Over the years, the kids always loved seeing Missy, Sky and the ginger cat in the window. We'll miss Pauline's positivity and big smile. The black path will be a quieter and emptier place but we are thankful for the warm memories Pauline gave to so many. Our sympathies to you Sophia, your brother and family. May Pauline rest in peace.

On our family trips to Ireland, Aunty Pauline would always welcome us back to Galway with an open door and open heart. Her gracious hospitality, gentle spirit and irish cooking made you feel once again at home with the emerald isle. I will especially remember our walks with the dogs along the shores of Lough Atalia.
