My sincere sympathy to Paul, Neil, Brian and Iain. I have many memories of your kind and smiling mother from growing up on the Galway/Coast Road and meeting her occasionally in past years. She was a bright and cheerful lady which I think was rooted in a sincere and persevering Christian faith. I hope now, having reached the end of her life, that she receives the peace and joy of heaven in which she hoped and which she so richly deserves. I am very sorry I couldn't attend the reposing or funeral Mass as I was required to be elsewhere. Rest in peace Pauline.

So sorry to hear of the passing of our wonderful friend Pauline. Since becoming Paul’s colleague in 1987, Paul and Pauline gave us an unconditional welcome into their home and lives whenever we came to Galway. Pauline showed us exceptional love and kindness over those years. Her beautiful nature, wisdom and sense of humour was unique. We will truly miss her from the world.
