I couldn’t believe it when I heard it that pauline had died.i have very fond memories of her when she taught me in the convent in granard.she was a brilliant teacher.then after that I lived and worked in edgeworthstown and saw her and her late mum often. Miss Curran was an excellent teacher who expected (and got) the best out of her students. I looked forward to her classes, both for her passion and competence about her subjects, but also for her wit.

She will be fondly missed . There was genuine sadness in my entire family when we heard the news of her passing.

Saddened to hear the news of the passing of Miss Curran. She tocuhed a lot of lives through her teaching, me included. I have very fond memories from my time in Cnoc Mhuire (1980-85) and been taught by Miss Curran was one of them. She was one of a kind. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.

I'm sad to hear about Pauline's death. Remembering Pauline, (Miss Curran), twas long long ago she was my Irish teacher. I did learn some!! she was strict but a great teacher.
