I am glad to have this opportunity to offer my condolence to Pauline's family.

Pauline and my Mother Breda were only acquaintances, both psychotherapist in GMIT and NUIG respectively. Yet Pauline stayed by my mothers side as if she was a protecting angel, during my mum's terminal illness.
Pauline also offered me a roof over my head during my return to Ireland. She was and always will be a very peaceful heart, and an ever giving kind soul.

I recall walking into a sunlit room where Pauline and my mother Breda were smiling and having a fun filled chat.

You brought hope to the downcast. May the mantle of your peace cover those who are troubled and anxious, and may peace be firmly rooted in our hearts and in our world. Inspire us to act justly and to reverence all God has made.

I remember Pauline in the position of student counsellor in GMIT and always felt she was a most kind and gentle lady. May the Lord show her his Mercy and gives her everlasting peace. 🙏

As former colleagues of Pauline in Colaiste Ide, we will miss her generous hospitality and lively company on our future trips to Galway. Her funeral Mass, which we attended yesterday, was a fitting tribute, a majestic choir, a heartfelt and moving eulogy, not to mention seven priests on the altar!
