Sincere condolences to Pat on Pauline’s sad passing. I have fond memories of the Doyle family since childhood. Great people. May Pauline Rest in Peace.
So sorry to learn of the sad passing of Pauline. A Native of New Street but emigrated early. Pauline’s sister Mary worked in the post office in New Street, just like her dad before her. Paddy passed away suddenly in the early fifties. Pauline’s brothers both Pat and Donie I knew well and served as altar boys in St. Mary’s cathedral. Mrs Doyle a most, gracious, amiable and capable lady was always good to meet and converse with. From what I have read of Pauline she was a chip off the old block.
To her beloved Deirdre and Jimmy, her dear brother Pat and the extended Sullivan and Doyle families, we wish to tender our sincere sympathy on their most grievous loss. May Pauline’s generous soul find eternal peace and happiness as she reunites with her dearly departed husband, dad and mam, sisters and brother.
Sean O’ Grady, former mayor Killarney.
