Peadar, Clare, Austin and his dear wife Eileen and all the Lacey families my deepest sympathy to you all. What a pleasure I had in meeting this wonderful man. Our morning chats while he reads the paper, specially the Farming Independent. Our chats were always on farming topics. Telling me Peadar was at silage over the weekend, we converse on the weather. Then I had the pleasure of catching up with him in St John's. RIP Peadar.

Peadar was a life long member of our club and is currently vice President and has served as our club President, Chairman,Secretary,Committe member, player and selector. He also served as Enniscorthy District Secretary. He was instrumental in the development of our club facilities and the fundraising involved in same. He passed on his love of the GAA to his children and grandchildren. We are deeply indebted to Peadar for his commitment,dedication and the enthusiasm he showed to our club over the years.
