I had the pleasure of working with this kind and wonderful lady for many years. I also travelled to the Holy Land with Pearl and a group, 10 years ago. What a wonderful time we had. Pearl was a very special Lady with such a special gift of making everyone, especially her students, feel like they were the most important person on earth. My deepest condolences to Pearl's family and many friends.

Condolences to the Cawley family on the death of their mother. Cathal Cawley was a Garda Sargent in Clarrmorris when my father( retired Garda) died in 1986. My mother thought the world of him & she was so sorry to hear of his sudden death two years later.

Fergal , Ashleen, Sinead ,Niamh, Cormac my very deepest sympathies on the death of your Mum. I have the fondest memories of us all in Springvale as younger kids catching up and having fun. It’s hard to believe she is no longer here . I am so sorry I could not be at Pearls mass. I have watched online and it was so beautiful and so simple. To the Hughes and Cawley family I offer my sincere condolences. I stayed with Pearl when i was a young teacher. We both taught in Mt St Michaels. She was a beautiful, kind, considerate and caring cousin. I always remember her advice about being a teacher...." Treat each child with the same respect as if they were your own". I am so sorry I cannot be at her funeral Mass today as I abroad. Will be thinking of you all at this sad time.
