My darling friend in Dublin when I first moved from Tipperary. Pearl and her dear Mother, Mary (Auntie Mary, my adopted aunt) were great fun. Pearl and I travelled together, played together had a ton of fun together and were very close, until she went to Australia and I to Canada. We reunited at her mother’s funeral. She was a treasure.
