Pearl taught with me in Loreto St.Stephens Green in the early1980s . I remember her very fondly, a very gracious lady, who was extremely kind and welcoming to young teachers. When I was in Mount Carmel Hospital for surgery she made sure that her sister Marie knew I was there. I was looked after extremely well!

Deepest sympathy on my own behalf, and on behalf of the many Loreto Sisters who worked with Pearl in Loreto College, Stephen's Green, to Maire and all her relatives on the death of a wonderful woman, a gentle, kind person, a wonderful teacher and mentor to her students and an example to all of us her colleagues of what a teacher should be. We have lovely memories of her presence in the staff-room and are truly grateful for her time with us. We assure you of our prayers for the happy repose of her soul. May she rest in peace.

It may be 40 years since I last met Pearl. My mother Claire Keane was her first cousin. She was always regarded very fondly by my mother and I recall that she was an elegant , soft spoken lady. My condolences to Maire . May Pearl rest in peace.

I was very sad to hear of Pearl's passing. She was the gentlest
companion to teach with in Loreto Stephen's Green and had been my
Irish teacher in Waterford with the Ursulines. She was always a good
friend. May she rest in peace.

I had the very good fortune to teach with Pearl at Loreto, Stephen's
Green. You couldn't have had a gentler wiser colleague. I knew her
in Waterford ,in the Ursulines where she was my Irish teacher and
taught my sisters too. She was always kind even when faced with
