PEARSE COLLINS

Pearse was one of life’s true gentlemen . I worked with him in London for at least five years . He always had a story to tell and spoke to me about his family almost every day. All the time I spent in his presence was a pleasure because he was such good fun to be around and was always smiling.

Very sorry for you Tom and your family for such a sad loss

Pearse and I became pals in San Francisco. We shared many a laugh and many a deep and meaningful. He was always open-hearted, and looked out for everyone around him. I will miss him dearly. Pearse recently told me how he was more worried about those who loved him than he was for himself. Still looking out for others. Pearse also told me how proud he was of Ché.

I was very sad to hear of Pearse's passing. I have fond memories of my time in San Francisco listening to his stories. He always spoke of his love for his family. One story in particular comes to mind. One of our first times to sit down at the back of the hostel with a beer and chat, he told me about how much he respected his dad and when he was a was younger he would go after school to his business to do whatever he could to help. It made me think differently of how I looked/acted with my own folks. It was something that stuck with me for 20 years. RIP Pearse.

Pearse always made days at work more enjoyable with his stories and laughter. Such a shame to be saying goodbye.
He will be truly missed but will carry on living in our memories.x
