Sympathy to all Peggy's family and friends. My earliest memories of Peggy are as a teenager or younger. On Sunday evening she was a regular at devotions with Fr. Murnane. She would lead us in Tantum Ergo, Sweet Sacrament Divine and other traditional hymns. It gave me a "gra" for choir singing, that has remained with me to this day. Sleep well in heaven Peggy.

Mark and I would travel down to Cork every summer to stay in Passage with Granny Corkery and Gerard. We'd always head out to visit Peggy and Denis at the farm at some point and do some exploring while the grown ups talked. It was always Peggy that came up to the car as we where getting ready to head off and pass over a sneaky fiver to each of us, I thought farmers were loaded! She was a great character and I have nothing but fond memories of her, Rest in Peace Peggy

Sympathy to all Peggy's family and friends .My memory of Peggy is over 50yrs now .On a sunday evening she would round the graveyard bend at a steady pace on her bicycle, on her way up to devotions with fr Murnane .A few of us would sit with her in the middle isle,she would lead us in "O Solutaris" and Tantum Ergo ,sweet sacrament divine and taught us all the tradional hymns.No fuss just lead by example.May Peggy reap her heavenly reward.

Peggy was a unique lady. She generously shared her lovely farm eggs and always had so many stories. May she rest in peace.

So so sorry to see and hear that Peggy has passed on. Surely the end of an era. A truly remarkable Cousin who kept herself up to speed with all the branches of the Corkery family. Peggy enjoyed her game of cards up at the centre in Kilbrin while she was able, which kept her in touch with all that was happening in the locality. She always spoke well of her neighbours who looked after her so well particularly when she was left on her own after the passing of her brothers. Peggy had a particularly genuine way about her, which endeared her to all, which is why she will be missed not alone by her immediate family, but by all of us on the outer circle also.
