To Josephine, Michael,Andrew, Nicky and your extended family, Im so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mum. Have many wonderful memories in Copperfield with you all. Your Mum was an amazing lady, she could turn her hand to anything, she had the biggest heart and was a lady. Her home like her heart was beautiful. I'm sorry I could not be there for you. May she be reunited with your Dad and onto their next adventure together.
— Marion Mulvey
Peggy It has taken me a while to process that you have gone to your eternal reward but your spirit will stay with all of us, so many memories! From when you would come home from Your nursing training in Mansfield to seeing you in this Summer you brought such a ray of brightness into our lives with your lively strong independent spirit and your great sense of style and colour and your warm and generous heart! When I was a student in Bristol you mothered and loved not just me but my close friends Pat and Julie too And those Redlands College students who lodged with you and Mick. Accommodating Peter when we were courting! Then I was able to be there for you when Jo, Michael and Andrew were born! I moved to Lichfield on marrying but moved back when the twins were just one. We enjoyed some lovely times together whether shopping and children playing together and supporting me when I had a traumatic experience when our Jo was born. I was devastated when you returned ‘home’ the year after Nicholas’s birth. You made a wonderful home for your family with Mick In Cashel. When surgery and repeated pain and treatment robbed you of your mobility you never complained and at each homecoming I marvelled at your resilience and strength. You loved life and lived it ‘well ‘ to the end . God Blessed you with the Peaceful death you so richly deserved and leaving us with memories to treasure Anne and Peter and all the Farmer family
— Anne

Sincere sympathy to Josephine, Michael, Andrew, Nicholas and all of Peggy's beautiful grandchildren and her new great grandson John and her lovely brothers and sisters on the sad passing of Peggy.

My late husband Eugene and I met Peggy and her wonderful husband Mick in Bristol in 1966 and we have remained forever friends for all those years keeping in regular contact.

Every special occasion we were always invited and vice versa. Our children loved their holidays in Copperfield House and they have such great memories of Cashel.

Peggy and Mick were a fantastic couple and they were true genuine people.

I will miss you so much Peggy, I loved our phonecalls and hearing all your stories and the updates of all your children and grandchildren of whom you were so proud of and who you truly adored.

You were one beautiful lady, so kind, so generous and even with all the obstacles you continued to have such a zest for life.

Peggy was always happy and smiling and joking, she never ever complained. Peggy was always dressed in beautiful clothes and jewellery, We always loved seeing her new style.

Peggy, you were such an inspiration to us all and we will miss you dearly.

We will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.

Goodbye Peggy thanks for all the wonderful memories.

Love Always
