Our sympathy and condolences to Joan and to all the Kearney family on the passing of Peggy. She was such a charming and personable lady, we enjoyed her company on her all too infrequent visits to Baltimore.
Fond memories of Peggy during my time working in 45 Dame St in the sixties. Condolences to her family and friends
So sorry to hear of Peg’s passing. A wonderful lady & inspiring leader. I had the pleasure of working with her in the Royal - great times.
So sorry to learn of the death of Peggy and I send my sincere condolences to the Kearney family on their sad loss. I met Peg when I joined the Royal at 45 Dame Street in 1959 and can still remember her constant smile and friendly chat for the new trainee. A lovely lady. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Dear Declan and extended Kearney family. I was so saddened to hear of Peggy's passing and extend my deepest condolences to all the family. Peggy was an exceptional and inspirational woman - she was the first woman to be elected as President of the Dublin Insurance Athletic Society - what wonderful memories of trips to Cork and Belfast with the Hockey and Soccer teams. She was great company and loved nothing better than a party and a sing song. I treasure those memories. May Peggy rest in peace.
To the extended Kearney family my sincere condolences on the passing of dear Peggy. She was a wonderful friend to us all in the Royal Insurance all those years ago. She was always in great humour and so helpful when it was needed. I’ll always remember those trips we made to the various courts particularly Galway where her affable personality secured some memorable settlements. Those of us who had the great pleasure of being counted amongst her friends will miss her greatly. May Peggy’s gentle soul rest in peace.
