I worked with Donal many years ago as did my husband before me and the two of them kept up their friendship until they sadly passed. Peggy and I kept in touch since then and I always enjoyed our chats about the families and times passed. I know she will be greatly missed by all of you. Rest in peace Peggy reunited with Donal

She was a long standing member of the Mount Merrion Active Retirement Association and was attending Chair Aerobics until earlier this year. An active and pleasant woman who greatly enjoyed her choir and being interested in the people around her...now joined the Heavenly Choir. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Peggy.

Peggy, along with Meadhbh, has been in the front row of the Choir in Mount Merrion my entire life. I think we had worked out that she began ca. 1978.

She sang at my Dad’s funeral, our wedding, our eldest’s christening, all in the middle of the Senior Choir in the front row.

The minute she was no longer there - just before last Easter - a small light went out.

There was always a smile, a kind word, a check-in and a generally a laugh either before or after mass.

She is/will be greatly missed.

She has certainly gone to a better reward.
