"Now, do you remember your Great Auntie Peggy?" I can still hear her asking this every time we visited, and of course we always remembered her so fondly. Auntie Peggy was generous, friendly and kind, always ready with sandwiches and endless cups of tea. She will be greatly missed. Sending love to all her family.

Thinking of you all today as the family makes its final farewell to Peggy. With all her capacity to enjoy good company, to be curious about that company and the world in general, she was a lady of extraordinary resilience and fundamental seriousness. Great memories of her over here in England with her wit and warmth. She travelled well! God bless her on her last journey

We are saddened by Peggy's passing and offer our heartfelt condolences to Jim, Geraldine, David & Margaret on the death of their dear mother. Peggy was a lovely, welcoming person with a great sense of humour. She still had a keen curiosity and interest in all the happenings in the world around her. The last of her generation, Peggy recalled many memories of times past in Galway but was always fully engaged with the new.
Our condolences too to her beloved daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and grandchildren- they will miss her greatly.
Unfortunately, we'll have to join the funeral online from Asia but our thoughts are with you all at this sad time
