My darling Peggy, you slipped away without me knowing and my heart is aching. God gave you to the world to make it a better place and to save lives. All this you did with such love and kindness. You have earned your wings Peggy, may you rest in peace.

I only today realised Peggy had passed away and I'm dumbfounded. Peggy was a life saver for me when the bottom had fallen out of my world. Peggy listened and never judged. She offered advice and always made me feel safe and not alone, as one mother to another, she loved her family more than anything. She helped me through the darkness time yet In my life. I went on Facebook today to message her and can't believe she's gone. Condolences to all Peggy's family and friends. She was an amazing woman. Rip Peggy.

I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Peggy’s passing. Like many others, I had the pleasure of working with Peggy. She was a woman that I admired for her compassion, honesty and was a fierce advocate for all those she worked with. Peggy was intensely loyal, determined, who sought justice for others and has left a terrific legacy in Limerick. Although, her loss will be felt deeply throughout the community, my sincere condolences to her family and friends for their heart-breaking loss. RIP Peggy.

I had the pleasure of working with Peggy many moons ago. A strong and driven women so committed to the Northstar and people that attended. Always eager to support and advocate for others. She was fearless. A huge force of nature. I cannot begin to imagine how you must all miss her terribly. My deepest condolences to you all.

I was very sad to hear of Peggy's death. I had not seen her since she was in 5th class in school - a beautiful girl and a pleasure to teach. May she rest in peace and be richly rewarded for her kindness and good works. May God comfort you all, her grieving family and friends. Thinking of you.

Above all it was always apparent she was a fantastic loving mother, loyal to her friends and always welcomed a stranger without question or judgement.
