It was following your gentle Aunt Mary going to live in the Glebe Nursing Home Co Limerick that I met your mam. After that we met there several times over the years until Mary s passing. Mary loved talking about older times in Kilcorney .
Your mam and Maolíosa were so good to Mary they were a great united and happy couple.
Your mam always spoke so highly about you all ,her pride in your activities and talents was very obvious..
Peig s death marks the end of an era ..the end of the wonderful Twohig family in Kilcorney Mary Michael and Peig and their parents.
May the gracious, warm ,strong, loyal Soul of your dear mam RIP.

We are all thinking of you all and so very sorry we can't be with you this morning. We'll miss Peig very very much. She has always been ever so kind to us, we will never forget. She is always present in our walks to the end of Beal Bán. Such good memories. We are sad to think we won't see Peig and Maeliosa any more and do sympathise with all of you.

Peig was a beautiful caring genuine Lady whom I got to know back in 2012 after my Dear Mother passed.
I wasn't coping too well and Peig helped me step by step through my grieving process... I will always remember she telling me, there was light at the end of the tunnel, when all I could see was darkness, but thankfully Peig you were right.

I'm so very sorry to see this today. Peig was a wonderful lady and a lovely customer when I had Ring O Roses florist. she would give me her list each Christmas and I would take care of her gift giving for neighbours and friends.
Peig would always speak so proudly of her family.
